This annual fundraiser, and appropriately nicknamed “friendraiser”, is an eagerly anticipated day out for dog lovers in Shoreline and Seattle. Since 1992, this grrr-eat event has been encouraging dog lovers and their pets to get out, get active, and raise funds to support PAWS’ efforts to give animals in need a chance at a happy, healthy life! Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll or go for a brisk run, PAWSwalk allows you to run or walk the scenic 5K course. All the fun takes place at King County’s Marymoor Park, the event also features live entertainment, a beer and mimosa garden, an adoptable dog parade, and plenty of games and activities to keep tails wagging all day long!

The Bow Wow Luau benefits the cats and dogs at the Homeward Pet Adoption Center, but at the same time, it allows you and your canine companion to let your hair down and enjoy yourselves. Held in the beautiful surroundings of Northwest Cellars Winery, this summer event gives you the paw-fect excuse to break out your Hawaiian shirt, slip into your flip flops, and indulge in an afternoon in paradise! Happy Tails Wine Walk
