Walk/Run for the Animals
Get active, have some fun in the sun, and raise some money to help pets in need — that pretty much sums up the experience you can expect at the annual Walk/Run for the Animals! A fundraiser for the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, this paw-some community event supports the society’s adoption program, lost and found services, and shelter and medical care costs for abandoned dogs and cats. You and your furry friend can walk or run the course at whatever pace you choose, with a 3-mile walk and 5k timed run both on offer. All entrants receive a woof-tacular goody bag and entry to the Party in the Park, which features vendors, food, and stacks of dog-friendly activities.

Tail Wag
A glamorous night out with your pet, with all proceeds raised going to benefit a grrr-eat animal cause — sounds pretty wonderful, right?
