Pet Photos with Santa

Tis the Season to get into the holiday spirit and the folks down at Happy Tails Pet Training are all about spirit! Bring in your favorite furry friend and have their holiday pictures taken as a keepsake that will last furever.


Your pet will not only get a pawsome picture taken with Santa by one of the best photographers in the area, but they'll also be helping to support one of the local no-kill shelters as well!  Be sure to call in advance to set up a mini photo shoot, as walk-ins are welcome, but there may be a wait.

Paws for a Cause 5k

If you love to get out into nature with your pooch by your side, then Paws for a Cause 5k is the best event you could possibly attend. Held at Kettle Moraine State Forest, this event features a variety of absolutely stunning trails for you and your furbaby to pad along.


However, the scenery is not the only bone-us to this event.  You will receive plenty of great merchandise for participating, as well as being able to attend a howling good time at the awards ceremony and the after-run social.

Milwaukee Boat Line Cruises

Although this may not "sound" like an event, the Milwaukee Boat Line Cruises are quite furbaby-friendly and tend to be an event unto themselves. From live music shows hosted on the boats to the lovely scenic tours taken daily, these cruises are a great escape for you and your mutts.


Be sure to take care of the "necessities" before boarding and you're sure to have a howling great time. Don't forget to bring a camera, because the scenic tours feature some pawsitively beautiful sights for you to capture.

Community Bark Dog Wash and Coffee Bar

Ever wish you could grab a great cup of coffee while waiting for your doggo to get their "do" updated?  Well, now you can!  Stop in at the Community Bark Dog Wash and Coffee Bar where you can relax and enjoy some caffeine therapy while your barky buddy gets a much-needed wash and style.


In addition to great coffee, you'll have access to snacks for your four-legged friend that will have them howling with excitement. We're sure you'll both appreciate the experience and the staff are absolutely great to talk to. Get some pro tips on dog grooming, different types of coffee, and furry products that you and your pet will love.

The Hateya Trail Run

The Hateya Trail Run and The Hateya Trail Walk will be held at Petrifying Springs Park in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  This pawsitively astounding event is a great way for families and their pups to get out and have some winter fun together.  The 6.4-mile run and 3.2-mile walk will both be challenging, given this is winter in Wisconsin.


Expect the trails to have some roots, rocks, hills, and other challenging terrains, as well as anything else Mother Nature manages to spring up with. The end of the trail will feature some hot cocoa, chili, and a nice campfire to sit around while sharing your trail woes with others.
