I love animals! I have had pet dogs of all sizes, from a 10 lb chihuahua mix to a 100+ lb Labrador retriever. I currently live in Bay View with my dog, Foxy. I was a member of the Animal Cruelty Task Force in Milwaukee and have presented statewide on the topic of preventing animal cruelty. I've also attended national conferences on issues of animal welfare and cruelty. I'm excited to help you and your furry friend!
Hello! My name is Samantha. I grew up in New Berlin WI. As a kid, my job was to walk the dogs. The area I lived in was great for taking walks on the hiking trails. I currently live in downtown Milwaukee. It works perfectly for my Frenchie Stella and I. We love to go play across the street at the dog park and take long walks by Bradford Beach. My joy in life is animals and am currently looking for more furry companions to love.

I am an aspiring playwright who is a proud dog owner of a Catahoula Leopard Dog. I have 10+ years of experience owning, sitting, and boarding dogs. There is nothing better to me than meeting a new dog and making sure they live happy and loved lives.
I have lived with and loved dogs my entire life. I am experienced with both large and small dogs, from gentle retired Leader dogs to rambunctious hunting hounds. I learned how to handle large dogs at a young age. My grandparents have hunting dogs, so I also learned how to work with them some, as well as what to do with more defensive dogs.
Friendly, energetic animal lover. I have been around animals for my entire life and have worked with and around animals for all of my adult life.I currently work at a local vet hospital as a Veterinary Technician and working towards getting my credential license.I can be a great companion to your pet for walks and play time while you're away at work or on vacation. I can provide care for any medical special needs pets. Basic grooming and training services can be added for additional compensation

There’s plenty to love about Milwaukee! With its awesome Lake Michigan shoreline, a cornucopia of brews and culinary fare reflecting its diverse immigrant heritage, fabulous architecture spanning centuries, and a hip and expanding art scene, residents of Cream City have a lot to keep them busy! But when Milwaukee pet pawrents need to get away, they often have to leave their canine pal behind.
Today, overnight care is more than just kennels. When you are looking for the best place to keep your pup safe while you are gone, there are several choices of pet care to choose from.
In-home dog boarding and dog sitting services provide stress-free alternatives that your dog can love, with the peace of mind you need. And with many local dog sitters and boarders also working as Milwaukee dog walkers, your dog can have an adventure all their own! With your permission, your pooch can sniff out the neighborhood, explore the city and shoreline on the Oak Leaf Trail, or get away from it all in the forests and meadows of Kohl Park. After a cuddle, your furry furiend is sure to snooze the night away.
If you’re looking for great Milwaukee dog boarding and sitting, read on to find out the average cost of overnight care near you.
While you won’t see a huge difference in dog boarding prices between luxury boarding and traditional dog kennels near you, there is a vast array of included and extra services available at each type of accommodation.
Kennels average around $40 per night, and include access to outdoor spaces for elimination and exercise, two mealtimes, and dorm-style rooms that offer little in the way of privacy. Luxury boarding, on the other hand, can be as much as $55 per night, and feature more spacious rooms that are completely or semi-private, others with individual outdoor runs or TVs, and most with elevated beds. While both kennels and luxury boarders often offer group playtimes during the day for social pups, its often accompanied with an extra fee.
Luxury boarders also feature several extras that can be added on to make your dog’s stay more enjoyable. While your dog may love movie time, extended walks, access to a pool, an aromatherapy massage, treats, gourmet house meals, and even a bedtime story, these also come with additional charges. The cost of your dog’s stay can also go up when you add pick up and drop off services, a stay during the holidays, training classes, grooming services or even additional exercise time.
With prices starting at $39, booking a dog boarder in Milwaukee through Wag! is an affordable option that keeps your dog safe and happy in a comfortable home environment.
If your dog would rather lounge in their own home, overnight dog sitting is the way to go. The average price for dog sitting can be quite a bit higher than boarding, ranging between $65 to $150 per night, but can provide your dog with a familiar environment to help lessen the anxiety they may feel while you are gone.
In-home dog sitters near you usually include meals, potty walks, playtime and cuddles in their rates. Sitters also can bring in the mail, take out the trash, water the plants, and keep an eye on your home while they are there. On average, an overnight caregiver will spend 8 hours with your dog, but some can have extended visits up to 12 hours. This distinction can be important, as it can dictate how many additional walks and visits you’ll need to add on during the day so your dog can relieve themselves and stay active. Your rates may also go up for medication administration, or if you book your sit during the holidays.
