Naturally, the Humane Society of Wisconsin has a variety of campuses across the state, including a few in Milwaukee. The staff and volunteers show great spirit in providing the best possible homes for the many homeless pets that pad into their facilities and they offer the top-quality service to adopters.
The Humane Society is well-known for their efforts to house, treat, and rehome pets and their nation-wide initiatives have made them a household name in pet advocacy. In addition, they make sure to host a great array of events throughout the year that help to support not only the HSA itself but several shelters throughout the state as well, providing food, veterinary care, spay/neuter procedures, and foster support for the many animals in need throughout the state.
When it comes to loving our pawsome little furever buddies, no one loves the tiniest of these better than Bichon & Little Buddies Rescue. They take care to ensure that our pint-sized compadres find immediate veterinary care when needed and well-chosen forever homes with families for them to love. These little guys may be small in stature, but they make up for that with fursonalities bigger than the Grand Canyon. Brave hearts fill those little bodies and the staff and volunteers love to help these homeless little ragamuffins find new spaces and faces to love.
Your pet will not only get a pawsome picture taken with Santa by one of the best photographers in the area, but they'll also be helping to support one of the local no-kill shelters as well! Be sure to call in advance to set up a mini photo shoot, as walk-ins are welcome, but there may be a wait.
Expect the trails to have some roots, rocks, hills, and other challenging terrains, as well as anything else Mother Nature manages to spring up with. The end of the trail will feature some hot cocoa, chili, and a nice campfire to sit around while sharing your trail woes with others.
However, the scenery is not the only bone-us to this event. You will receive plenty of great merchandise for participating, as well as being able to attend a howling good time at the awards ceremony and the after-run social.
Be sure to take care of the "necessities" before boarding and you're sure to have a howling great time. Don't forget to bring a camera, because the scenic tours feature some pawsitively beautiful sights for you to capture.
In addition to great coffee, you'll have access to snacks for your four-legged friend that will have them howling with excitement. We're sure you'll both appreciate the experience and the staff are absolutely great to talk to. Get some pro tips on dog grooming, different types of coffee, and furry products that you and your pet will love.
