Hi! I want to introduce myself so that you can better understand me and trust me with your companion. I am a Certified Dog Trainer as well as a Vet Assistant. I work part time as a dog trainer and full time as a dog sitter! I have multiple online certifications in animal care such as Dog Behavior, Dog Walking, Cat and Kitten Care, Animal CPR and First Aid, Animal Therapy, Animal Grooming, Pet Nutrition, Veterinary Support Assistant and Animal Psychology! I volunteer at an animal shelter almost every Sunday. I also interned at a vet clinic for a while so I’m fully aware on how to handle an emergency situation if need be! As for animals, I absolutely LOVE them. ALL of them. I currently own 2 orange cats and an Australian shepherd, but growing up I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, turtles, frogs, iguanas and a horse. I am extremely patient and I will connect with your fur baby on a one on one so that I can better understand them and their behavior. I've been around animals my entire life, including owning a German Shepherd for 13 years, fostering cats, and caring for an assortment of reptiles, rodents and birds. I attended Penn Foster to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have almost half a decade of experience in Veterinary Medicine, from monitoring pets during surgical procedures, administering medication, performing blood work and vaccines, to being promoted to Lead Veterinary Technician and Head of Canine and Feline Nutrition, topics I'm extremely passionate about. I also run a small business baking high-quality, low-ingredient healthy dog and cat treats. I also have managed a luxury dog hotel, so providing amazing care for your fur babies is second nature! I've been dogsitting and walking dogs for over 15 years, starting when I was a teenager with my family's dogs, then branching out towards friend's and neighbor's dogs as well. I've walked fit-in-your-purse-sized dogs to dogs that look like polar bears! I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish and horses, along with a plethora of rodents and exotics. too, and can care for them while you are away confidently. While working in the veterinary hospital, I have become extremely knowledgeable and comfortable with all pets. I am very in tune to that and am also certified in fear-free training methods to help ease any pet's uneasiness! I cannot wait to meet your pet!
