I've been pet sitting & dog walking for 16 years and been involved in animal training for over 13 yrs. I specialize in dog & parrot training but have enjoyed training many species. I'm a huge advocate of modern, positive training methods. I grew up in S. Florida with my now 17 yr-old Chow Chow mix, Rinty, and adopted my Border Collie mix, Rex when I moved to Texas. I've shared a home with a variety of animals over the years. I'm fascinated by animal behavior and the human/animal bond.

I began training dogs professionally in 2006. I received my dog training certification in 2010 through CCPDT. I'm passionate about helping dogs and their humans communicate effectively. My background and experience makes for a fun and safe environment while you are away and ensures you come home to a dog whose manners have been maintained. My name is Maddi, and I recently graduated the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana in 2017. During college, I worked for a non-profit organization that trains mobility service dogs and then places them with individuals in need, free of charge. I love working with dogs of all sizes, shapes, and colors! I'm excited to meet your pup! I also personally have 2 cats so I work well with your cute kitties!
