Cheviot Hills is a high-end residential neighborhood located in the western section of Los Angeles, California. The district is happily situated near Fox and Sony Studios and is used as a nearby filming location. The community is home to many film and television actors, studio executives, and staff who find the location convenient for work. The community has a low population density and is exclusively residential with no commercial areas or significant services available within the community. The nearest services are several blocks east on Robertson Avenue in nearby Crestview. Many homes have been or are being torn down and replaced with larger modern homes that better suit current residents. The neighborhood has a low population density within its 1.54 square mile territory and large properties with spaces between homes. Many houses in Cheviot Hills were designed by prominent architects and have unique features. 


The terrain has hills, elevation changes, inclines, and roads which curve to flow the terrain. Hills are not especially steep and most pedestrians and pets can negotiate them without too much trouble. The Rancho Park Golf Course and Hillcrest Country Club border the community on the north and provide sightlines of open green spaces for adjacent residents. The area also provides sports facilities and athletic fields with night lighting, a pool, and a playground area. Palms Park Recreation Center offers recreational facilities as well] including basketball courts and a playground as well as picnic tables, barbecue pits, and trails with green spaces to explore as you and your furry friend stroll the region. There's even a footbridge crossing the nearby tracks.  

Residents near the golf and country clubs can enjoy this cool greenway from adjacent roadways.
