Alexander Woods Townhomes is a small community of townhomes built in 2007. The community offers mid-size homes at affordable pricing. While this is a semi-closed community, there are also a few public areas for others to enjoy. All who chose to live here must join the HOA and be prepared to pay the monthly fees, but the community has everything the average person living in Florida needs including tennis courts, a swimming pool, volleyball courts, a kid's playground, and a lagoon. There are dog-friendly parks and pet stores within driving distance and plenty of room to walk around the community thanks, in part, to vast areas of grass running between the buildings. Right next door is a supermarket that you can walk to instead of driving. Like much of interior Central Florida, the temperatures here are mild in the winter with daytime lows in the 50s and summertime highs in the low 90s.
Describing the terrain here is simple as all you have to do is say it's flat! But there is more to this area than flat ground. On the western side of the community is a large lagoon for you and your pooch to walk alongside, but you may not want to let your pup go swimming in it. Threading their way between the various townhomes are plenty of shade trees you and your pooch can hang out under to stay cool in the summer heat. Flat grass may not sound like much fun when it comes to going for a walk with your dog, but you can always head to the back of the property where there is another section of woods, a small lake, and plenty of space for the two of you to enjoy each other's company while hanging out in the shade.
Those who live in Alexander Woods Townhomes are fortunate to live in an area of Plant City that is surrounded by trees and green spaces. The community itself is one big green space with vast lawns surrounding each of the buildings. In the center of the community is a large area of trees, of which there are even more to the rear of the property. If this isn't quite what you had in mind, there is always the Plant City recreation and parks area just to the northeast and within driving distance. Here you will find a number of quality baseball fields including Plant City Stadium. There is plenty of grass for both of you to run around on as long as there isn't a game going on! This is only one of many dog-friendly parks in Plant City that are within driving distance of the Alexander Woods Townhomes.
