Dog Walking in Scarsdale

Scarsdale is a small town set on the Mississippi River in southwestern Louisiana, and offers a small town feel near the larger New Orleans. With its small population, there aren't any designated dog places here. The closest vets are in the nearby city of Belle Chasse, right across the Mississippi River. Their hours are 8AM to 6PM and they are closed on Sunday. The closest emergency clinic is located in Terrytown, and is open from 6PM to 8AM.

In Belle Chasse, just a short ferry ride away, is PJ's Coffee of New Orleans. Here at this casual coffee shop, you can get a little taste of everything. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their two pet-friendly outdoor tables. There is a $1 toll for 2 axle vehicles on the ferry.

Parrot Pete’s is a fantastically fur-friendly restaurant located in Terrytown. Here you can enjoy breakfast favorites all day with Fido at one of their many dog-friendly tables outside.

To work out your dog's wiggles, head to Gretna City Park in the nearby city of Gretna on Huey P. Long Avenue. This park has a pawsome hiking trail with you and your buddy to sniff and explore, as well as some open grassland. There are trash cans in the park, but be sure to bring bags and water!
