Belmont Avenue is a great addition to the Henderson area of Northeast Dallas, Texas. Although it may not be in the center of downtown or far enough away to rural, there are some real perks to living in the suburbs that make this area perfect for a lot of people. One of those perks is a relative closeness to a wide array of businesses and restaurants, including pet services. With so many options, it can be hard to pick the best people to take care of your pet's needs. However, it is far from impossible with all of the well recommended companies willing to serve you.

Some of the best groomers in the area include Urban Dogg Dallas, Dog House On The Trail, PetSmart, which also offers training and pet supplies, and Paws. Some of the highest rated hospitals and vets in the area include Rutherford Veterinary Hospital and Uptown Paws.

This area is a perfect example of what is usual to the Dallas-Fort Worth region. It offers extremely flat terrain and not very many natural sights aside from local neighborhood parks surrounded by rows of houses. Although this may not seem very exciting for some, it is a dream to others who really are not that interested in the crazy hustle and bustle of the big city or the strain that comes with living in a very natural area. This is perfect for those looking for a good old fashioned suburb.

It can also be very comforting living next to so many houses because, usually, these small areas may have tons of people but are separated into cozy blocks that make the neighbors seem less overwhelming and allows for a cul-de-sac community to form. This bond can be very comforting for some who enjoy the company and like knowing someone is watching if anything were to go wrong.

Although this area as a whole is relatively underwhelming and artificial, the Dallas initiative towards more neighborhood parks has really flourished in this area and given residents some surprisingly fantastic options to just get away from the city. A great example of this is Cole Park. This cute park features a playground, tennis and basketball courts, and picnic tables all throughout.

Garrett Park is another great option that is very similar to Cole Park with basketball and tennis courts, walking trails, a soccer field, a playground, and picnic areas. For a bit of cooling off in the hotter summer months, Tietze Park is the place to go with lots of trees, a pool, a playground, picnic area, and sports areas.

For a more unique experience, Mutts Canine Cantina is the perfect option with good food and better beer served as concessions on a dog-friendly patio attached to an off-leash park.
