Centreville
The city of Centreville is located around 20 miles north of Yocum and has a magnificent park where dogs are allowed. The Cub Run Stream Valley Park is an 800-acre wooded area that dogs are allowed to explore on leash. It has paved paths which are around 5 miles long. This quiet park even has a creek where your dog can dip his paws! You can watch the wildlife that lives there and hang out in the deep shade with your family. Be sure to bring a camera!

Warrenton
Vint Hill Dog Park is located 13 miles northwest from Yocum. The park is located in Warrenton, which has a population of around 9,611. The park is fully fenced and provides lots of space for running around and chasing balls. Even though there are no water facilities in the park, you have bowls at your disposal. Cleanup bags can be found at the waste stations, and lots of toys are provided as well. You can find separate small dog and large dog areas, and even a few agility course pieces. If you're feeling hungry after all that fun, visit Black Bear Bistro, where your dog is allowed on the patio.

Woodbridge
Next to the Potomac River in Woodbridge, there is a park called Leesylvania State Park. It is located around 15 miles from Yocum and it's one of the most beautiful pieces of nature in the vicinity. It's a great family place, and, considering that our dogs are a part of our families too, you can feel free to bring everyone in the family for a pawesome day out. There is a fee that you need to pay to enter the park, and your dog needs to be on leash. There is a mini beach where dogs are allowed to swim and dig in the sand. Isn't that just pawfect?

Lake Ridge
Lake Ridge is a place near Woodbridge that offers a great dog park called the Prince William County Dog Park. Situated around 14 miles away from Yocum, the beautiful terrain at this park is the perfect place for your pup to burn off some energy. This doggie heaven has a separate small dog area, picnic table, benches, poop bags and more! Be aware that the park doesn't have water, so you should bring some. It's free and open to the public. However, children under 8 years are not permitted in the park due to safety reasons, so be mindful of that.

Manassas
Approximately 14 miles from Yocum is the city of Manassas, where you can find a perfectly good dog park for your furry baby to have lots of fun. The Manassas Dog Park is located behind the Manassas Park Community Center and offers two off-leash areas where dogs can play: one for small dogs and one for large dogs. There is a spigot available for drinking water as well as filling up kiddie pools. The lot is fenced, and the terrain is grass. If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite afterwards, you can visit Okra’s Cajun Creole, where your dog is welcome on the patio.
