Thornton Creek Park is on the south side of the Jackson Park Golf Course. This green space is completely wooded and has trails in it, making it the perfect place for a Saturday morning stroll.
Just to the north, the golf course has a trail around the entire course which makes for a great place to go for a walk. There is lots of green grass and trees for your pup to explore here. North Acres Park has a large wooded area and trails as well, but even better for Fifi, it has an off-leash area where they can really stretch their legs and explore.
There are a lot of small parks scattered throughout the rest of the Northgate neighborhood, including Hubbard Homestead across from the mall, Victory Creek Park to the east, Northgate Park, and the Maple Leaf Reservoir.
