However, the condos are on Aurora Court, only one half-block from Ridgewood Avenue, the main road running through town.
In most beachside towns, the main road along the beach is full of condos, shops, restaurants, and many other businesses. However, Cape Canaveral is not like most towns in that there aren't any businesses here. On the other side of the neighborhood and up and down A1A, you will find many of the stores that you may be craving. You can even go down to the West Cocoa Beach Causeway where there are shopping centers on both sides of Banana River.

Despite the fact the Sea Era Sands Condo sits a block off Ridgewood, you can expect to see a fair amount of traffic during the day. This is in part due to the public parking areas on each side of the condo building. The parking lots are very popular because they both offer a trail that leads through the scrub zone to the beach. This flat terrain is ideal for people needing a quick pit-stop with their pup.
Along with this, Ridgewood Avenue is a bustling road from long before rush hour begins until late into the night. It is heavily used by locals during rush hours and frequently visiting tourists. It can be hard to find a quiet time to walk along this road with your dog. You can do one of two things: get up before rush hour and go for your walks together before traffic starts to build up or take your walks in the residential neighborhoods on the west side of Ridgewood Avenue instead.

The city has also made several of the annual events pet-friendly such as Founder's Day held in April of every year and Friday Fest held on the first Friday each month. In November of 2019, the city plans to host its first Fido Fest in Manatee Sanctuary Park, a day dedicated to all things canine.
