The Canova Dog Beach is a 9.1-acre dog beach that welcomes furry friends as long as they are on a leash and wearing tags. Another important thing to keep in mind is that Fido must be up to date on current vaccinations. Parking is free and close by, which is a plus. You and your pooch can drink from the water fountains and use the showers after you are done frolicking. Benches and picnic tables give you both a place to take a break. Your pooch will enjoy splashing in the water with you! Keep in mind that there is no shade here, so you may want to bring an umbrella.

The Cocoa Beach Resort

If you are looking for your pooch to get rid of some excess energy, this neighborhood has just the place for you. The Lori Wilson Park Dog Park is located just 5 miles from Cape Canaveral, Florida. It is a very large, off-leash park where your pooch will have a lot of room to roam around. The entire park is fenced in, with a separate area for smaller breeds. Your canine pal will enjoy the feel of the soft grass under their feet and sniffing out some new fur-iends. There is also fun to be had in the doggie pools, or your pup can cool down with the hose. Something to keep in mind is that this park gets very crowded on the weekends.

Stoneridge

This pawesome neighborhood is located 24 miles from Cape Canaveral, Florida and is home to the Wickham Dog Park. This is an off-leash dog park that is completely fenced in for your pup’s safety. There are two separate areas: one for smaller dogs and the other is for larger canine friends. The surface where your pooch will be running around is mainly wood chips, so no need to worry about dirty fur. This is a great park for your furry friend to make friends with other canines. There are chairs for owners to sit and watch their pooches explore. Something to keep in mind is that there aren't many trees, so shade is limited. You will also need to pack some water and supplies foe cleaning up.

South Harbor Estates

This puptastic neighborhood has a great dog park that you and Fido need to check out. The Satellite Beach Off Leash Dog Park is located 15 miles from Cape Canaveral. As its name suggests, your pup is free to roam around off their leash on the grassy and sandy terrain of this fenced park. You'll need to provide proof of vaccinations and pay a fee to use this park. If your furry friend is on the smaller side, or is just shy, no need to worry; there's a separate area for smaller or timid dogs. This dog park is a pup’s heaven! There are so many things that your canine pal will enjoy doing, such as playing on the agility equipment and chasing after all the available toys. A hose and water fountain are also provided for your convenience.

Marina Road

This neighborhood welcomes dogs and has a nice park for you and your pooch to enjoy. The Sandpoint Dog Park is located 25 miles from Cape Canaveral, and has a huge space for your pooch to run around off-leash. This park has a beautiful view of the lagoon and overlooks the harbor; you can even see boats from time to time. There are two sections: one for the smaller breeds and one for the larger pups. The park offers water for thirsty canine friends. Doggie waste bags are also available, as well as trash receptacles for cleaning up. Grab a ball and enjoy this beautiful park with your pooch!
