Satellite Beach enjoys an ideal location on the Floridian coastline, with picturesque beaches of golden sand and blue sea. This charming and fur-iendly city is situated in Brevard County, and has one veterinary clinic and one animal hospital, in case your furry friend requires medical attention. There are also quite a few other veterinary clinics in the surrounding cities. 

A popular attraction in Satellite Beach is the Samsons Island Nature Reserve, which is a 52 two acre green island on the Indian River Lagoon. It is home to endangered wildlife, and beautiful flora and fauna. Since it is an island, it must be accessed by boat, but the city runs a free boat every Sunday from the Fire Station. Your dog is welcome to join you on this adventure!

If you love seafood, be sure not to miss Neptune Bar and Grill when you are in Satellite Beach. This place serves everybody’s favorite coastal dishes, as well as having live music. This restaurant has a large outdoor patio where you can relax and enjoy your evening, with plenty of dog-friendly tables to bring your furry friend to dinner.

For a cold treat, check out the Surfin Turtle.  This is a relaxed ice cream shop, which has five dog-friendly picnic tables that are covered, so you can enjoy a banana split of ice cream sundae with your pup in the shade. If you want to enjoy some dinner, you can head to Fiesta Jalisco for some delicious Mexican food. There is plenty of outdoor seating that is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along!

    You have got to visit Satellite Beach Off-Leash Dog Park! Just as its name suggests, your pup can run and roam free in this 1.5 acre park, with fenced areas for small and large dogs. There is plenty of agility equipment for exercise, as well as toys to play fetch – your pup’s dream come true! The doggie water fountains are there for your panting pup when he needs them, and plastic swimming pools are provided when it is hot outside. Benches are available to relax and watch your dog have fun. There is a small cost for using this dog park, but it is worth it to see the smile on your pup’s face!

You can also check out the dog-friendly, Suntree Café. There are outdoor tables you can sit at with your furry friend and watch the world go by.     If you drive for 2.2 miles south of Satellite Beach, you will reach the City Center of Indian Harbour Beach. Since it is just next door, you can bring your pup with you and visit Gleason Park. This is a pawsome place for a leisurely stroll with your furry friend. This 27 acre park has quiet and peaceful walking trails through sniff-tastic woods and around the pond. Dogs are welcome on leash. When you get hungry and want to have a sweet snack or filling lunch, you can check out the Too Cool Café. Just as its name suggests, this place is pretty awesome with freshly baked pastries and muffins. Plus, the outdoor seating is dog-friendly!
