Cocoa Beach is located on Florida’s Space Coast, and is a vacation hotspot with its golden sanded beaches and warm weather during the summer months. There are plenty of hotels that welcome dogs in Cocoa Beach, as well as dog-friendly restaurants and cafes to suit everybody’s tastes; Bone-a-petit! There are also two animal hospitals here, as well as veterinary clinics in nearby cities.

When you are in Cocoa Beach, a great place to buy some local produce is at the Space Coast Farmers Market. This is open every Saturday, with a fur-iendly atmosphere that welcomes dogs, as long as they are on their leash. Now you can walk and shop! 

The highlight of Cocoa Beach for dog lovers has got to be the number of cafes and restaurants that welcome dogs. Most of them have outdoor patios where you can enjoy the weather with your pup and watch the world go by. For fresh fruit and healthy alternatives, you can also check out Acai Express with your furry friend. Just as its name suggests, you can find a host of delicious acai bowls here, with plenty of ingredient options to choose from. There are dog friendly tables outside so you don’t have to leave your pup at home.

If you need a place to stay overnight with your pup, the Comfort Inn and Suits has pet-friendly rooms. You can bring up to two dogs for an additional fee, as long as you book in advance. Motel 6 also allows you to bring your pup to stay with you for free; what a bargain!

    For a relaxing stroll on a warm day, the Maritime Hammock Reserve is perfect for you and your pup. There are sniff-tastic walking trails to explore, as well as the opportunity to spot some birds in the trees. Since there is wildlife, it is best to keep your dog on their leash. If you like to listen to live music and enjoy some barbeque food, head to Slow & Low Barbeque. They have every kind of meat on the menu and your dog is welcome to join you at this open-air restaurant. For an ice-cold beer, why not check out the local brewery? The Cocoa Beach Brewing Company has beer on tap for you to try and the outdoor deck is great for letting your pup join you.
