Be sure not to miss Lorie Wilson Park Dog Park when you are in Cocoa Beach. This place is like pup paradise! There are separate fenced areas for small and large dogs to run, roam free and have fun. This can be a busy spot on the weekends, which can be great if you want to socialize and make new furry friends. If you need a place to stay overnight with your pup, the Comfort Inn and Suits has pet-friendly rooms. You can bring up to two dogs for an additional fee, as long as you book in advance. Motel 6 also allows you to bring your pup to stay with you for free; what a bargain!

Cocoa Isles

For a relaxing stroll on a warm day, the Maritime Hammock Reserve is perfect for you and your pup. There are sniff-tastic walking trails to explore, as well as the opportunity to spot some birds in the trees. Since there is wildlife, it is best to keep your dog on their leash. If you like to listen to live music and enjoy some barbeque food, head to Slow & Low Barbeque. They have every kind of meat on the menu and your dog is welcome to join you at this open-air restaurant. For an ice-cold beer, why not check out the local brewery?
