Get a good walk in on the trail that goes throughout the park before you head off onto your next adventure. This is one of the smaller parks in Merritt Island. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you when you visit this pawsome spot.

Hidden Creek

If Fido gets a little hungry while the two of you are in the Hidden Creek neighborhood, stop into Wabi Sabi for a bite to eat. They dish out fresh sushi and sashimi for you to enjoy. Their dog friendly patio is covered to help protect you from the elements, and the staff is very dog friendly and welcomes your furry pal to join you while you enjoy some delicious food. After a good meal, get a walk in at the Rotary Park- Merritt Island with your pup. The park offers a huge grass area with a playground and a covered picnic area.

Take your pup out to the Woody Simpson Park for a great afternoon out under the sun. The park offers a playground that is covered, a community center, and plenty of grass to run on and explore. Get a good walk in on the path that goes throughout the park, and if you want to have a picnic, take advantage of the covered picnic area that the park has. This park is fenced in, so if Fido accidentally gets loose, he will be safe. There isn't a lot of shade at this park, so make sure to bring water with you.

New Found Harbour

The Kiwanis Island Park is a lovely space to spend time at with your dog by your side. This 18-acre park offers a wildlife sanctuary, boat launch, community center, and numerous different sports courts. Your dog will love all the grass that he can run through. This park is perfect to get your daily walk in, giving you ample room to roam with your dog. The park doesn't have any shade, so make sure to bring water with you, and don't forget your clean-up bags. Located right on the Sykes Creek, your pup will love the views from this lovely area.
