If Fido needs a good day out under the sun, take him out to Ryckman Park. This great park has a playground, tennis courts, and plenty of trees to help provide shade on those extra hot days. There is a boardwalk that goes across the river, so you and Fido can have a great walk with a nice view. There are restrooms for owners, and a huge green field if your dog wants to get a game of fetch in before heading home for the day. Atlantic Shores

Take your pup out to the Juan Ponce de Leon Landing Park for a fun afternoon out. The park is right along the beach, and offers restrooms, fishing, and a small patch of grass that your pup can play on. The best part of this park is the beach access for you dog, as long as he stays on leash and you follow the posted signs that are around the beach. Melbourne Beach

Less then a mile out of Melbourne Beach in the nearby town of Indialantic is Sunrise Park, a pawsome park to let your pup roam around and explore with you by his side. The park offers some play equipment and a great walking path that goes around the park. Best of all, the park sits on the coast and offers a gorgeous view while you and Fido get a good walk in together. Keep your pup on a leash and enjoy the beach before having to head back home. Canova Beach

Take your pup out to the Canova Dog Beach to meet some new friends and get some time in off leash. The 9.1-acre beach has a small pavilion for shade, and a grill and picnic area so you both can enjoy a meal together. There's also benches for owners to sit on and restrooms. If your pup gets a little messy while out and about, the beach offers outdoor showers, and there's water fountains for you both. The beach also provides clean-up bags in case you forget yours while visiting. Located in Indialantic, your dog won't mind the small trip to this beach.
