Make sure to check out the Fay Lake Wilderness Park nearby while you are in the area. This park offers playgrounds, pavilions, piers, and plenty of grass to play on.

Lapham Park

The Lapham Park neighborhood in Cocoa is filled with a plethora of dog friendly restaurants, your pup isn't going to know what to choose! If Fido is looking to get a good walk in, take him to Provost Park. The park offers a playground, community center, basketball courts, picnic tables, and baseball fields. Fido will love running around in the huge grass fields and burning off some excess energy, plus there are plenty of trees to provide shade for everyone. On the weekends, the park tends to get busy with sports games and food trucks, so if your dog isn't a fan of crowds, you may want to consider a different park. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you when you visit.

The Grandview Heights neighborhood is home to a great park where Fido can run around and explore with you by her side. The McFarland Park is right along the river, and offers a huge hill that Fido can run up and down. The park also features a small boat ramp, picnic tables, and a fishing dock. Riverside Park is right next to McFarland Park, and offers plenty of trees for shade and tons of grass for Fido to run on. If you want to spend some time relaxing on the river, there are a few benches for you to take a seat on and just hang out.

If Fido is in need of a walk, make sure to take advantage of the nature trail that runs through the park and get a good walk in for the both of you.
