When the time comes to go shopping, it's going to be by car as there aren't many stores within walking distance. However, you are within a ten-minute drive of several major supermarkets and stores. Among these are a Walmart Supercenter, a Publix, and a Sav-a-Lot, all of which carry a wide selection of foods for your furry friend. There is a large park virtually across the street where the two of you can go for long walks and you have a spectacular view of the Indian River from anywhere on Olive Street. US-1 has always been a busy highway as it runs down virtually the entire east coast. The only time of day it is quiet is during the wee hours of the morning.
