The Harbor Breeze Condominiums sit on S. Palmetto in a nice quiet neighborhood near the Halifax Marina and River. This is the historic district of Daytona Beach and includes Jackie Robinson Stadium, the Courthouse, a Farmer's Market, and puts you close to City Island and the Bethune Point Park.
If you want to go out to eat, you have to hop in the car and cruise for a bit. Many of the best restaurants are over on the beachside where you will find many of them lining A1A. There are also many excellent restaurants on the mainland side. As for dog-friendly parks, the nearest one is Bethune Point Park.
For those who love the sun, Daytona Beach is the perfect place to live. Summers here consist of endless days in the 90s with blue skies that seem to go on forever. Winters aren't so bad here either with average temperatures in the 50s in December and the upper 40s in January.

There are miles of trails for the two of you to hike along, acres of cypress swamps, and swathes of pine-palmetto for you to explore.
