Top dog walkers in Sea Echo Condo
Wag! Walkers know Sea Echo Condo
Sea Echo Condo is the perfect condo for the budget-conscious, located behind Bellair Plaza and just one block from the beach. While you may not want to be without a car, there is plenty of shopping including a Publix grocery store and multiple restaurants along A1A for those who enjoy dining out. There are bars in many of the hotels along the beach where the parties never seem to end. The nearest park is the Andy Romano Beachfront Park which offers a family-friendly environment.
The condos were completely renovated in 1983 after being converted from apartments and make the perfect place to live with easy access to the mainland via the W. Granada Blvd or Seabreeze Blvd Bridge. Summers are filled with 90-degree weather and virtually endless sunshine. Even the winters here are perfect for taking your dog out for walks with temperatures in the upper 40s and 50s. The most you should need is a light jacket.
What is the terrain like in Sea Echo Condo?
Over here on the beachside, the terrain is flat followed by more of the same. The condo is surrounded by city blocks all of which seem to have a sidewalk running along the streets for the two of you to take long walks on.
Keep in mind that just because the terrain is flat, it doesn't mean you can't find other ways to keep your strolls a little more challenging. For example, you can try walking around different blocks, go at different times of the day, try walking on some days, and jogging on others. These walks are not just about taking you pup out to the bathroom, they are about making sure both of you get in plenty of exercise.
Once your dog's paws have had time to get used to walking on pavement, you can start going for distance, but take your time and remember, no matter how far you go, you always have to walk back!
How many greenways are there in Sea Echo Condo?
Beyond the Andy Romano Beachfront Park, there really isn't much in the way of green space for you to enjoy. The good news is that you are only a short drive from Tomoka State Park where the Timucua Indians once lived, fished, and hunted. Today, the park is a birdwatcher's paradise with over 160 different species calling the park home. There is a boat ramp on the river, places to camp, and plenty trails for you to explore. You never know what you might see here. You might even see the Indian Manatee that call the river here home and possibly even a gator from time to time!
To the south is Smyrna Dunes Park which offers a blend of sand, scrub, and water for you, your family, and your dog to play around in. The only requirements are that you keep your pup on a leash and take waste bags with you for obvious reasons.
