Top dog walkers in Hibiscus Center Condo
Wag! Walkers know Hibiscus Center Condo
The Hibiscus Center Condo can be found on Hibiscus Dr close to Edgewater Park. Residential neighborhoods filled with single-family houses surround the condo. On the east side of Hibiscus Dr is the FEC RR track, which means getting used to the noise of trains rumbling by and the bellow of their air horns. However, despite their noise, there is still something cool about watching the trains roll by.
While shopping for people and dog food is often distant from many of the neighborhoods in Edgewater, this is not the case here. You can drive to the Edgewater Commons shopping plaza in two minutes or walk there in fifteen. In the plaza, there is a Publix supermarket where you can find everything you need. Along with these, there is a Burger King and a Walgreens. Beyond this, there are several places to eat in both directions on S Ridgewood Ave that are worth checking out.
What is the terrain like in Hibiscus Center Condo?
Surrounding the Hibiscus Center Condoare vast areas packed with family homes. Moreover, while Hibiscus Dr may not be as busy as say S Ridgewood Ave, it still sees heavy traffic. This is especially true during the morning and evening rush hours. During the school year, the buses going to and from schools like the Indian River Elementary School tends to make matters a lot more hectic.
To further compound the issue, there are no sidewalks anywhere for you and your pooch to use for your daily walks. Which, of course, means you have no choice but to use the roads. The one place you should not try to walk is next to the FEC RR tracks. Doing so is trespassing and could result in fines. The other side of this is that it is quite possible for the wind generated by passing trains to "suck" both of you under the train if you get too close. Your best choice is to get out early in the morning before traffic gets heavy and while the temperatures are bearable.
How many greenways are there in Hibiscus Center Condo?
From your home in the Hibiscus Center Condo, you and your dog can walk to Edgewater Park in five minutes or less. Edgewater Park has a lot to offer every member of your family. There are three baseball/softball fields, four tennis, shuffleboard, and hand/racquetball courts. More importantly, there is plenty of grass for you and your pooch to enjoy romping around on. You are required to keep your dog on a leash and clean up any messes they leave behind.
The nearest off-leash park is the New Smyrna Beach Dog Park. The park is a fifteen-minute drive north on S Glencoe Rd. It offers separate areas for large and small dog to play in safety, water for the pooches, and plenty of shade for you to relax in with the other dog owners while all the dogs run off and play together. This is a huge park with a large section for the bigger dogs as they need more room to run around than the little guys.
