Top dog walkers in Coronado Towers
Wag! Walkers know Coronado Towers
Coronado Towers is a large condominium on the corner of North Atlantic Avenue and Crawford Road. All the condos have an ocean view and the entire building sits up against the beach. Imagine getting up early in the morning before the rest of the world begins to stir. There is nothing but the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, the seagulls, and the chance to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up!
The condos are a few minutes north of Flagler Avenue, a historic shopping street filled with exotic shops, great places to eat, and a few bars to wet your whistle in at the end of a day out on the beach. If you need groceries, food for your dog, or other supplies, there is a Publix grocery store on the corner of East 3rd Avenue and South Atlantic, just down the road.
What is the terrain like in Coronado Towers?
As you might expect, living in a beachside condo means having to deal with lots of traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian. North Atlantic is the main road running along the beach and, as such, tends to be a bit on the crazy side during morning and evening rush hours and pretty much all day long during tourist seasons.
But the streets are not the only place you are going to be dealing with traffic. The beach is open to vehicular traffic as well. While the dunes are a great place to take your dog for walks, if you wait until it's busy, you risk being in an accident with a tourist driving on the sand for the first time. A much better time of the day to go for your daily walks together is early in the morning before things start getting busy and the temperature starts to climb.
How many greenways are there in Coronado Towers?
The nearest green space is literally right outside your window. The beach runs from the Ponce Inlet all the way to Port Canaveral without interruption, but this is far more than most could walk in several days. The beachfront offers a great workout with a variety of terrain for you and your pooch to enjoy together.
To the north are two small parks that join together to make one large area to walk and play in. Grayce K. Barch Park and Grayce K. Barch North Beach Community Park offer you the perfect place to take the family for a picnic and the pup for a walk. It is also home to one of the few Volusia County Beach Fire Pit Areas. What could be better than gathering around a roaring bonfire after a fun day of play, making s'mores or roasting hot dogs while your furry friend snoozes at your feet?
