Tara Trail is a lightly developed residential community to the west of the New Smyrna Beach Airport on the other side of Turnbull Bay. The neighborhood consists of single-family homes buried in a heavily wooded area. The trees offer at least some semblance of privacy with some homes more heavily wooded than others. Living out here is as close to living in the country as you can get while still being within ten minutes of essential amenities like grocery stores and gas stations.
