Wallaces New Smyrna is a pocket of single-family homes and the United Church of Christ on the corner of Washington Street and North Orange Street. Washington Street turns into the North Causeway that leads over to the peninsula. From your home here, you can be on the beach in less than ten minutes and hitting the waves or taking your dog for long walks in the fresh air and sunshine!
Living here puts you close to places to eat, bars, grocery stores, and pet supply stores on both sides of the Indian River North. It also puts you within walking distance of at least two public parks and one long grass walkway. If you feel energetic and your dog is up to it, you can actually walk across the North Causeway as there is a protected walkway on one side wherever it crosses the water. It's a little over 2 miles to the beach, but it's great exercise!
