Point is a residential community of cookie-cutter homes, many of which
sit alongside the river and have docks jutting out into the water. A small part
of the neighborhood also lies on the west
side of US-1. Both sides of this main roadway are lined with small businesses.
While there are a few businesses here, the main shopping zone is to the north along
Dunlawton Avenue which also happens to be the main east-west road running from
the beach all the way west to the I-95 interchange. This is a bustling stretch of road, but along it, you will find several big box retailers,

Dunlawton Avenue is also home to a fabulous selection of both chain and local eateries

that is split in two by one of the busiest highways in the city. Beyond the

you should avoid walking during the height of the day, as there really isn't room for everyone on the street at
the same time. When you do decide to go out, face the oncoming
