Along with giving you access to the beach on the other side of the Halifax River, Dunlawton Avenue is also home to a large selection of major stores like Walmart, Publix, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Target. Along Dunlawton, you will also find numerous shopping centers and strip malls complete with pet supply stores, salons, and a great selection of local and chain restaurants for your family to choose from.

If you go south, your journey will take you and your pup up and over the Dunlawton Bridge and onto the beach. Park your car and be prepared to hike as far as the two of you can handle on the sand. Use the soft, dry sand for a serious workout and the wet sand for gentle strolls. Make sure you take time out to go for a refreshing dip in the warm waters. It will be good for both of you!
