If ever there was a place for dog owners to live, it has to be the Woods of Port Orange, Florida. Living in this community puts you right next door to the only off-leash dog park in the city. It also puts you next door to the All Children's Park where your kids can have a ball playing and there is a pavilion for picnics. This is an upscale neighborhood where many of the homes have swimming pools in their backyards and there are plenty of shade trees surrounding the large houses.
While this is a tranquil part of town, you are only a few minutes from the shopping district that runs up and down Dunlawton Avenue. The school buses do come through twice a day during the school year, but the rest of the time, there aren't many cars to worry about.

The Seemore Memorial Dog Park is a one-acre park that offers two separate sections, one for larger breeds and one for the smaller breeds. Each section has benches in the shade. There are watering stations in each area along with a "splash pad" for you to rinse your dog off after they are done playing. It's also a great way for you to cool your pup off when the weather is too hot.
