Parks and recreation areas are centrally located. The area is hilly and walks will involve some climbs. Pick your route according to your ability and adjust according to weather conditions as climbing lots of hills in hot weather is not ideal.

The west side of this park has a natural treed greenway while the east side is more open and developed with a golf course and tennis center. The Peachtree Battle Trail is a paved walking trail through this park, open to visiting Fidos on a leash.
