Inman Park was originally a planned garden suburb. The street layout and green spaces were designed with the development of the area. The community has gone through a variety of changes in it’s long history. As a result, this neighborhood is eclectic and charming, with everything from Victorian mansions to quaint bungalows.

Architecture in the area includes late 19th century Queen Anne, Italianate, and Romanesque styles as well as Foursquare dwellings. The neighborhood includes two historic districts and a former industrial area on the west side which has been redeveloped for mixed-use. A large apartment complex is also situated on the north side.

Inman Park has some hills and is heavily treed with curving streets that are lined with sidewalks. Walking your dog through this beautiful neighborhood is a real treat with plenty of shade, beautiful homes, and a park-like setting. The Atlanta Eastside Trail runs along the west and north sides of Inman Park, and are ideal for strolls in the area with your pup.
