The park totals 12 acres and it has basketball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, and an indoor recreation center and gymnasium. It has vast expanses of green space, with concrete walkways running throughout its center which can make for some good opportunities for a daily walk.
Indian Boundary Golf Course is located on a massive forest preserve directly east of Belmont Terrace. In its center is a large golf course, but it is surrounded by acres and acres of forestland and parks. It is within close walking distance of Belmont Terrace, and offers plenty for you and your dog to explore within its bounds.
