Marquette Park is a large park located in the Chicago Lawn community of Greater Chicago. The neighborhood is a mix of both working and middle-class families and is much quieter than many areas of Chicago. This makes it a fabulous place to raise your family. Where once this neighborhood had a reputation for gang-related crimes, in the past few years, the residents of this community have worked very hard to restore the area and make is safer for you to walk your dog in.

There are a number of excellent restaurants within the district for you grab a bite to eat or a cold drink when you are walking on a beautiful, hot summer day. Most of the area features wide sidewalks with large grass strips running between the sidewalk for your pup to cool his feet off or for him to go potty on. Keep in mind that you must always clean up after your dog.

Now, over a century later, Marquette Park continues to be one of the most beautiful parks in the city and offers a wide range of athletic fields, a golf course, and a two-mile-long walking path that winds around the outside edge of the pond.
