Kaipapau Beach

Looking for a secluded spot to take your best canine pal for the day? Plan a trip to Kaipapau Beach. Located just off the Kamehameha Highway, you will find this pawrifically beautiful stretch of beach situated on what is known as Kaipapau Point near Kokolio Beach Park. 

Pawrking is easily accessible on the side streets located just off the highway. Kaipapau Beach is extremely doggo-furiendly. You can bring your main canine squeeze to enjoy all areas of the sand and the surf here, but do keep Fido on his lead at all times. 

This pawsitively amazing sandy haven is a little off the beaten track from the highway onto the sand. Behind a grove of trees which offer lots of pawrific shade, you will find Kaipapau Beach. The white sand shores are most inviting. You and your fave pooch can meander along the shoreline in search of seashells or other treasures, relax along the coast to read a good book, or even just work on your suntan. Picnicking is also a favorite activity. Bring along a delicious lunch from home for you, Fido, and the fam, to enjoy. Don't forget to pack some drinking water and cleanup bags as well. 

Sea turtles like to rest along the beach, and you just might luck out and catch a few taking an afternoon nap. Be careful not to allow your pooch to disturb them as they are a protected species under Hawaiian law. 

Kaipapau Beach also welcomes you and your doggo to come on in for a swim. Feel free to practice your very best doggy paddle, but be careful not to swim when the waters are too rough. This pawsitively awesome beach enjoys some of the most furrifically beautiful sunsets on the island.
