There is not a lot of pawrking at this furrific beach haven, so you will need to park just off the highway. You will find this beach has lots of shade from the trees on the grounds. There are also picnic tables in grassy areas where you can enjoy a packed lunch from home. Along with your packed lunch, you will need to bring drinking water and cleanup bags.Â
You and your main canine squeeze will have a barking great time swimming at this beach. There is a reef at the shallow end of the water, so do watch your pup's tender tootsies. When the water is rough, use caution when taking your pooch for a swim. Note that doggos are only allowed to romp on this beach below the high tide line, meaning from the debris line often composed of seasweed to the ocean, and in the water, of course!
At the southern portion of the beach, you will find a little bridge which passes over a stream. Here, you will find some of the best fishing in the area, so bring along your pole, some bait, and your tackle box too. This beach is not overly crowded, making it a wooftastic place to stop for a quiet dip in the ocean or a stroll along the coast.Â
For a doggone amazing day you'll not soon forget, you won't want to miss your chance to visit Kalae Oio Beach Park. It's a barking great place to spend your day!
