Kanenelu Beach

Fancy a day in your own little slice of Hawaiian paradise? Consider having your next barking great time at Kanenelu Beach. This pawsitively beautiful white sand beach is found directly off the Kamehameha Highway in the town of Kaneohe. 

Though there is no sign marking the entrance to the beach, it is quite easy to find just off the road which is backed by a retaining wall made of rock. Your pooch is welcome in all areas of Kanenelu Beach, but you will need to keep Fido on his leash at all times. 

Kanenelu Beach is well-known for its pawtastically scenic beauty. Since there is no pawrking lot housed on the grounds, you will need to make use of the street pawrking for your car. Kanenelu Beach is not as pawpular as other beaches in the region, largely because it can be rather noisy due to its close proximity to the highway. Still, this is a pawsome place to visit for a stroll along the coast or a dip in the ocean. The ocean's crisp waters beckon peeps and pooches to come on in for a swim. The waters remain fairly calm, making this a pawrific place to take a dip or practice  your best doggy paddle with your fave pooch right by your side. 

Kanenelu Beach is also a pawpular spot for fishing, so you'll want to bring along your rod, reel, and tackle box to try your hand at reeling in the catch of the day! You can also picnic along the sandy shores of this pawrific beach haven, so pack a lunch just in case the fishing's not so good during your visit. After lunch, why not take a stroll along the shore with your best canine pal along for company?

This beach offers no amenities, so you will need to bring all of the things you might need along with you. Don't forget to include drinking water and cleanup bags.
