Located directly across the Texas border, this seaside haven is well-renowned for its quietness, as well as its secluded location, making it the ideal spot for you and Fido  to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. 

If combing the shoreline for treasures with your best canine pal in tow is what you had in mind, you are in luck! Mae's Beach is chock full of seashells ripe for discovery. When it comes to swimming, you can't beat the surf. Best of all, Fido can join you on the land or at sea on all of your beach day adventures. But the local pawlice do require that all dogs remain on a leash at all times, so be sure to have one with you. 

You will love the pristinely clean white sand shores at Mae's Beach. The coastline offers pawrific views of the Gulf of Mexico, making it the pawrfect spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a run out on the water and try your hand at fishing, but it's always good to bring some backup food just in case the fish don't decide to cooperate!  Don't forget to pack a beach bag for Fido too. Some of the items your favorite furry friend might need include bottled water, clean up bags, and some Scooby Snacks to give your canine bud the extra energy he needs for pawtrolling the beach.
