A beach that's truly gone to the doggoes, this pawsitively awesome spot is extremely dog-furiendly. You can lounge on the shores or take a plunge into the sea; Fido is welcome to join you in either place. Just be sure to keep your main canine squeeze on a lead at all times as Honolulu observes strict leash laws.
Though there is no on-site beach parking at Royal-Moana Beach, there are several parking garages nearby, and there is also free parking available by the boat harbor. If you opt to take advantage of the free parking, you will get the added bonus of a lovely walk with your fave pooch as the beach is a located a little ways away.
Royal-Moana Beach offers so many furrific things to do, you'll want to stay forever! You can rent watersports equipment from a concession stand on the beach and get out on the open water to do some bodysurfing, kayaking, and more! The water is the pawrfect temperature for you and Fido to practice your best doggy paddle, and the current is great for novice swimmers as well. But it's not just the ocean that offers fun stuff for you to do at this great beach. You can grab a snack and drink at the local concession stand or enjoy a picnic lunch along the shore. Don't forget to pack bottled water and clean up bags in your beach essentials kit as you will surely need them both!
This wooftastic beach is quite wide and long, providing lots of room for you and Fido to stretch out and work on developing the pawrfect tan. This doggone awesome seaside retreat can get quite busy, so you'll want to arrive early to grab a great barking spot!
