Waialee Beach Park is a beautiful beach located on Oahu’s North Shore. This furrific beach is about 26 acres in total. Dogs are welcome to join you on the beach below the high-tide line, which is usually marked by seaweed.
Waialee Beach Park has a small parking lot that’s easy to reach from the Kamehameha Highway. There are restrooms available by the parking lot, but there are no showers at the beach, so be sure to bring a towel to clean your pup after your beach adventures.
While you’re at Waialee Beach Park, you’ll find lots of fun things to do with your furry best friend. You and your dog can go for strolls on the sand together and enjoy views of the ocean. While you’re walking, you’ll get a great view of the islet Kuka'imanini. This islet is located about 75 acres off the shore of the beach, and it looks great in photos!
Waialee Beach Park also has lots of tidepools to check out, and you can go swimming with your pup if you’d like. Waialee Beach Park is also a pawpular place to go fishing—there are tons of tropical fish near this beach.
When you and your dog get tired, you can relax under the beach’s ironwood trees. These trees line the whole beach, and they’ll protect you and your dog from the hot Hawaiian sun. You can also have a picnic in the sand if you’d like, or you can simply relax and enjoy the views of the water with your dog.
If you and your dog are looking for a scenic, quiet beach on the North Shore, Waialee Beach Park is perfect for you. Be sure to bring some doggy bags and water with you to the beach, and have a fun day out in the sand with your pup!
