Waimanalo Beach Park

Waimanalo Beach Park is a beautiful three-mile beach that’s famous for its crystal-clear blue water and bright white sand. Pups are welcome to join you on this scenic beach below the high-tide line, which is typically marked by seaweed.

Waimanalo Beach Park has a large parking lot with plenty of spaces. Be aware that there’s a small woodland area separating the parking lot from the beach itself. If you walk down the paved path in this forest area, you’ll emerge right onto beautiful Waimanalo Beach Park.

While you’re at Waimanalo Beach Park, you and your pup will find lots of fun things to do together! You and your dog can go for long strolls together and enjoy the views of the oceans and the mountains in the distance. You can also try your luck fishing—Waimanalo Beach Park is pawpular with fishermen since there are often lots of fish swimming by the shore.

You and your dog can also splash around in the water if you’d like—just be sure to keep your dog on-leash while they’re playing in the water. Afterward, you can lounge on the sand and sunbathe together. If you get hungry, the beach has a picnic area where you can have a bite to eat with your furry best friend. There are also barbeques in this picnic area you can use to grill up lunch for you and your dog.

If you need to wash your dog off after your beach adventures, Waimanalo Beach Park has a shower station you can use. There’s no drinking water or doggy bags available at the beach, though, so it’s a good idea to bring some with you.
