Description

A small but charming campground, 4 Guys RV Park sits between the natural beauty of the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. It's a family-friendly park with 45 full-hookup sites and tent camping, and dogs are more than welcome to join you during your stay.

Open year-round, the park boasts well-spaced gravel sites that are level and easily accessible. Around a dozen sites overlook Middle Fork Creek, while Wi-Fi is available at all full-hookup sites. Picnic tables and fire pits are provided, and all full-hookup sites get 20-, 30- and 50-amp service. There are also two RV park houses available to rent -- a three-bedroom and a four-bedroom -- but it's not specified whether these are pet-friendly or not.

As 4 Guys RV Park is a relatively new destination, the restrooms and showers are modern and private. Like the rest of the campground, they're also clean and well-maintained. You may notice some traffic noise from the nearby freeway on some sites, but the park is generally a quiet and peaceful spot to stay a while.

RV sites are $39 a night, and pets are welcome. Just make sure you keep your dog on a leash and clean up after them whenever the need arises. There's plenty of open grassy space where your pooch can stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh air.

There's also a decent range of activities on offer inside the park. The swimming pool is open from April to September, while younger (and older) anglers enjoy fishing for rainbow trout in Middle Fork Creek and largemouth bass in the park's fishing pond. Small playgrounds, a basketball court, and disc golf are also available, while there's a camp store if you need to stock up on any essentials.

You'll also enjoy easy access to a host of nearby natural attractions. Red River Gorge, the Nada Tunnel, and Daniel Boone National Forest are all nearby -- the forest in particular is known as an excellent hiking destination, and leashed dogs are permitted on the trails.

So if you're planning on exploring this beautiful part of Kentucky and you need a pet-friendly place to park your RV or pitch a tent, 4 Guys RV Park is well worth checking out.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
