Located in Cartersville, Georgia, right on Lake Allatoona, this campground is designed to please those who love the water.

At Allatoona, there is an assortment of sites available to campers, all of which are dog-friendly with rates starting as low as $47 per night. Sites that come with only water and electric hookups are ideal for camping vehicles smaller than RVs, such as pop-up trailers or fifth wheels. There are premium sites that come with all the hookups (water, electric, and sewage) for RV campers and those looking to modernize their stay. There are also cottage rentals for those who don't have their own equipment or who are looking for a different kind of camping experience. Finally, tent sites are available and come with electricity and access to water. 

Dogs will have no issues fitting in at Allatoona, as the campground has a welcoming dog-friendly atmosphere. Dogs are to be kept on their leash at all times and, of course, owners are expected to tidy up after their pooch. Be sure to bring along extra doggie bags and a leash for your pup. You are free to walk your dog through the park as long as you keep them under control at all times.

Your pup is welcome to join you while you venture through the water by boat. If you don't have your own boat, the marina has some rentals available. The marina is full service and has slips for boats between 20 and 75 feet long. A boat ramp makes it easy to get any vehicle into the water.

Modern technology is offered in the park in the form of cable and wireless internet. The recreation hall is a popular gathering place for socializing and events.
