Check in to Archview RV Park and Campground for an off-road adventure you’ll never forget. Take up the challenge and steer your RV onto a dirt site or upgrade to a gravel pad with full connections to electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer. Sites are cozy and fairly level, with a picnic table, communal fire-grill, and pull-through entry. Bring your laptop to enjoy easy access to the internet and your favorite cable TV channels. If you want to pitch a tent, there’s nothing quite like a Utah night sky, and the park has bushy trees for much-needed shade. Road noise causes a little disturbance, and the daily rate is $55 to $95.
Canyonlands State Park and Dead Horse Point State Park are within a 30-minute drive, so it’s no wonder hikers, bikers, and nature fans flock to this camp with red rocks and La Salle Mountains in view. Arches National Park is a 7-mile trek opening the gate to grandiose rock sculptures formed over millions of years.
Backpackers looking to explore the region's captivating trails may choose to rent a cabin with bunk beds, TV, and linens provided, or opt for a little opulence in one of the fully furnished cottages featuring a working kitchen, bathroom, and windows designed to take in the dramatic scenery. A rustic-themed chalet with hotel luxuries and garden furniture is another stylish option.
You won’t have to go far to fuel up, as the park has its own gas station and camp store on-site. A swimming pool is ideal for cooling off in the desert heat, with a playground and splash pad for energized youngsters. Restrooms, showers, and a laundry facility are well-maintained.Â
The park also welcomes furry family members to join in the fun! They ask pet guardians to show current vaccination records on arrival and bring doggy bags to clean up their fur-angel's waste. Pooches must be on a leash no longer than 10-feet and are allowed to stay in the cabins and cottages if they are less than 35 pounds in weight. A refundable pet fee of $50 is required at check-in for cabin campers, and the park has a special place set aside for daily woofer walks.
With so much to see and do, this popular RV park gets busy from May through to October, so we advise booking in advance.
