Description
When heading to the Deer Haven Campground, you will find yourself surrounded by plenty of shaded areas in the middle of a wooded area. While here, you will be able to relax with your family, pupper included! This campground allows you to bring in your tents and set up for an offline experience you will never forget. The surrounding areas offer plenty of trails for you to follow as well as sights you will not easily forget. With your canine companion at your side, you are sure to have an amazing time.

At Deer Haven Campground, you should keep in mind that since it just a campground for tents, there are no shower areas for you to use and you must also bring your own bags to clean up after your pet. They do have restrooms located around the campground with vault toilets for your convenience and you can check out the campground map for more details on where those are. This campground has drinking water for you to use when needed, but you will need to check the map for where you can find it.

There are plenty of trees surrounding the area so it is easy for you and your family to feel disconnected from the stress of everyday life. While visiting Deer Haven there are plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy, including sitting out by the campfire and walking the trails offered. While here, your pup will need to be kept on a leash for their own safety, especially because the area is so heavily covered with trees.

When you are planning to visit Deer Haven, be sure to check out their website to look for any changes in their hours or camping availability. They do have a fire danger chart on their site so you can see if there are any restrictions.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
