Bayou Wilderness RV Resort

The Bayou Wilderness RV Resort is a picturesque, peaceful, and clean place to camp in Carencro, Louisiana. This family-owned campground sits on more than 30 acres of land and even has its own swamp, so you'll get the full Louisiana experience. The campground has 120 large, pull-through sites that can accommodate vehicles up to 70 feet. Bayou Wilderness' central location makes it an ideal spot to park your RV while you enjoy all of the attractions nearby. 

This campground prides itself on being pet-friendly, but there are a few rules to follow. When your pet isn't in your RV, they must be on a leash, and pets are not allowed in any buildings. If you're caught not cleaning up after your pet, you risk a $20 fine. Doggy bags are available at the laundry building and office if you run out of your own. Certain breeds may not be permitted to stay at Bayou Wilderness, and management will determine this upon arrival. If you believe your breed might be prohibited, contact the resort before traveling.

During your stay, you'll have access to a variety of convenient and fun amenities at Bayou Wilderness RV Resort. There are climate-controlled showers, a laundry room, free wifi and cable hotspots, and fax and telephone services. You'll also find full-service hookups for RVs, as well as convenient access to propane. If you happen to forget anything during your stay, the campground's store offers groceries, ice, camping supplies, gifts, souvenirs, and it's open seven days a week. 

To keep yourself busy, you can take a dip in the clean outdoor pool with waterslides, and children will have a blast on the playground. There are acres of beautifully landscaped green spaces to walk around the campground, as well as fishing spots where no permit is required. There's also a tennis court on-site and a golf course nearby if you'd like to hit the links. 

Campsites range from $39 to $44 daily depending on the time of year you visit, and fees include four people. For each additional person in your party, you'll be subject to an extra $5 charge, unless they're under the age of two. Each night, quiet time is enforced from 10:30 PM to 7 AM to ensure you're rested up to enjoy your stay at the Bayou Wilderness RV Resort.
