Situated at the foot of Mount Baldy alongside Clark Fork River is the unforgettably spacious Bearmouth Chalet and RV Park in Clinton, Montana. This campground accommodates all types of campers, including those with four legs -- so don't leave your pup behind when you head off on vacation!
If you plan to come to Bearmouth, you have the option of just visiting for the day. Day-use parking costs $10. Those looking to stay the night can choose from either tent camping or RV sites. In total, there are 46 RV sites. Both 30 and 50 amp electric hookups are offered, along with a dump station conveniently located within the grounds. Tent camping is primitive and starts at only $20 per night. Sites are large, spacious, and secluded for those looking to "ruff" it with their pup. All campers have access to water, showers, flush toilets, and laundry facilities.
With over 180 acres of diverse landscape for you and your pooch to explore, this campground off-furs you unlimited opportunities in Montana's scenic outdoors. Walk through forested paths and nature trails along the Clark Fork River while watching the sunset with your pup. You may even be fortunate enough to stumble across some of the abundant wildlife inhabiting the area. Mule deer, elk, bighorn sheep, and even antelope are some of the many species commonly seen strolling through the campground.
Other activities to occupy your time during your stay include cruising the river by boat. The onsite boat launch makes it convenient to access the water for a cost of $10. You and your pooch can kayak or canoe down the river. You can also swing by the recreation room and picnic area, two ideal locations for gathering. For anglers, fishing is permitted along the river, making it convenient to cast a line and wait patiently while admiring the surrounding mountains.
Just remember to keep your pup on a leash at all times while inside of the campground. Cleaning up after your pup is required, and maintaining control over their behavior is expected. Uncontrollable aggression or barking will not be tolerated and can result in your dog being asked to leave.
