The campground is located in the forest near Packer Lake and Packer Creek. You will find yourself in the heart of awe-inspiring fir, cedar, pine, and oak trees, and there are even some fantastic redwoods in the area as well. What’s more, there are tons of great activities you can enjoy throughout your stay. The nearby lakes and rivers are a great spot for swimming, fishing, and paddling. You could also take a walk through the forest to see some of the fantastic wildlife that calls it home — there are a number of trails in the area that make for a great hike with your furry friend. You might also want to sit back and relax at the campground, which features a quality fire pit. The choice is yours!
Note that you will have to bring water for you and your canine companion as the campground does not have running water. There are, however, some streams where you can access drinking water, but you will need to purify it yourself. You should also be aware that the fire pit is restricted sometimes due to hot or dry weather conditions.
However you spend your time at Berger Campground, you are sure to have an amazing experience to share with your dog!
