Black Canyon Campground

Black Canyon Campground, located in Black Canyon City, Arizona, is a quaint and quiet location that's perfect for you to escape from the business of life. The campground is ideal for tents, RV's, pop-up trailers, and also has cabin rentals available, making selecting your accommodations easy.

The park is pet-friendly, welcoming you to bring your pup along for your camping adventure. The only regulations you are to follow regarding your pup is to keep them on a leash at all times when outside of your own, personal campsite, and clean up after your pet. Poop bags are not provided, so please bring some with you.

Amenities found within the campground include drinkable water and access to vault toilets. Showers and flushing toilets are not available, giving you a chance to have an authentic camping experience. On your campsite you will find a picnic table and a fire-ring to be used at your own convenience. Fires are permitted on campsites, but outside wood is not allowed in the campground.

Within the campground, you can find a variety of ways to keep yourself busy. For the history buffs, located not far from the campground is the historical site where three men (Stott, Scott, and Wilson) were lynched during the Pleasant Valley War. If you're wanting to stay close to your campsite, you can feel free to relax and take a dip in the pool located within the campgrounds.

If you're looking for a larger body of water, Canyon Lake is only about 2.5 miles away from the Campground, giving you the perfect opportunity to take a day trip to the beach. On the lake, you will find a multitude of things to do including fishing, swimming, and boating. Off road trails are available to be used by campers and are close by as well.
