Blue Sky Ranch RV Resort

This park is a senior living community for persons age 55 years and older. They advertise that this is a suitable park for "snowbirds". The Blue Sky Ranch RV Park has been recently renovated for permanent residents and travelers to live under the expansive blue skies of Arizona. The Colorado River is nearby. Other natural attractions in the area include the Kofa Mountain Range and wildlife refuge, Martinez and Mittry Lakes, and the Algodones Dunes. 

The park has new recreational facilities that include a swimming pool, spa, pickle ball court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard court, curling lanes, and a putting green. The park has organized activities that include bingo, yoga, bridge, bunco, crafts, exercise classes, and a walking trail. Special events are scheduled for holidays and gatherings such as ice cream socials, soup suppers, chili cook-offs, breakfasts, and an annual picnic. There is a large recreation center, a library with books and movies for check out, and a laundry. 

The park has a total of 200 sites with spaces. Sites have a patio and room for slide outs. Tents are not allowed. Rates are available for nightly, weekly, and monthly stays. Discounts are offered to the military and members of the Good Sam Club. 

Pets are welcome but there are breed and size restrictions. No more than two dogs are allowed per site. There is a pet fee of $1.00 a day for the second dog. There is even an enclosed dog park. Owners must clean up after their pets. It is always wise to keep your dog on a leash when outside. Dogs may go off leash in the fenced dog "corral" where your pet can have some extra exercise. Take care to check the fenced area when entering or leaving the area. Do not take puppies into dog play areas until all vaccinations are complete.
