Bogan Flats Campground Grp S

Bogan Flats Campground Group Site is a puptacular place to come with your crew. Sleep at a 7,650-foot elevation by the Crystal River in the Rocky Mountains. This campground can accommodate as many as 50 people. You can bring tents, trailers, or RVs up to 40 feet long here. The facility offers vault toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and benches. There's water at the main site that's about a quarter-mile to the north. Reserve this spot at least four days before your visit.

The group site offers a secluded location in the White River National Forest. You and your pals can relax under the shade of willow, spruce, ponderosa pine, and aspen trees. Use this facility as a base camp for fun day trips -- head to Redstone to visit the shops and tour the Redstone Castle. 

On your way, stop off at Hayes Creek Falls to see the water cascading from the cliffs. Go for a hike up Mount Sopris to see panoramic vistas of the forest. Plan plenty of time for the 14.8-mile trek. At the campground, you can try fly fishing for brown, cutthroat, and rainbow trout. Take a walk through the woods and look for bighorn sheep, ptarmigan, and other wildlife. End your day around the campfire and swap tales of your adventures.
