Sunny, salty, and as Floridian as it comes, the Breezy Palms RV Resort is a comfortable, quiet, and tranquil RV spot for people and pups looking to relax in the tropical breeze, rolling waves, and sandy beaches of Palm Bay. Though this campground isn't technically a 55-and-over community, they do note that most of their residents and visitors are over 55 years old. Close to the Atlantic Ocean and near enough to Cape Canaveral to watch the rockets blast off, this Palm Bay park is a Florida paradise.Â
The sites are well equipped and include all the basics you'll need for a comfortable stay, like 30 or 50 amp electric hook-ups, water, sewer, and even cable TV. On-site laundry is available as well! Not bad for a nightly rate of $35. There aren't a ton of on-site amenities to entertain or amuse, but there are picnic tables, boat rentals, and absolutely stunning views of the Indian River all throughout the park (you can even reserve an RV spot right on the water!). The resort also hosts game nights and cookouts.
Another major bonus of this campground is that your pup can join you on your adventure! Because this park does not have an off-leash area, you'll have to keep your doggo on their leash at all times, so keep this in mind when walking around with your pup!Â
As we mentioned, this park is right on the Indian River, so if you're interested in swimming, kayaking, boating, or even scuba diving, you've come to the right place. Just a quick drive away are fun beaches like Vero Beach and Cocoa Beach, along with the always entertaining and sometimes wild Cocoa Beach Pier.  If you're more interested in indoor activities, you can check out the Vero Beach Outlets, the Brevard Zoo, the Kennedy Space Center, or take a little bit of a drive over to Orlando for Sea World, Volcano Bay, Universal, or Disney World!Â
